Charity in Action: The Heron Foundation

Since 2018, we’ve been proud partners of The Fondation Héron, an international charity committed to improving the lives of people with hearing and vision impairment.
The foundation’s work focuses on access to vital healthcare in developing regions, bringing essential hearing and vision services where they’re needed most. Together, we can make progress in the fight against preventable hearing loss linked to poverty.
Making a Global Impact
The joy on a child’s face says everything about why these missions matter so much.
No two humanitarian missions look alike, but the purpose behind them stays the same: giving people access to hearing and vision care they might not otherwise have.
On the Heron Foundation’s recent trip to Rwanda, the team spent time in local communities carrying out hearing and vision checks for thousands of children and families. They fitted hearing aids, provided prescription glasses, and identified people who needed follow-up treatment or surgery. For many, it was the first time they had ever received this kind of care.
